The Awakened Heart takes ecstatic pleasure in love’s labor, fully embracing earthly existence with the urgency of one who has stopped resisting being here in an unmistakable way. Most are so busy trying to escape the body, this earthly realm, reacting against the mortality of finite life, that they have no awareness of the heart’s native freedom and creative expression.
The discovery of consciousness through the transcendence of body and mind only, during meditation and other spiritual experiences, as informing as that can be, often becomes our most tenacious attachment, and form of avoidance. This is where experiences become hindrances on the path.
Beyond the discovery of consciousness only, in and as, the Heart-Body, there is a tacit understanding which actually does not understand anything in particular, and at the same time, sees and revels in, and as, all things.
We then discover ourselves and all of manifestation as beyond limits while simultaneously unique and specific, arising without cause as love’s labor coming alive………as you, and me, with all our unique and wondrous gifts which can then freely flow.
Then this realm of change and complexity no longer offends us, on the contrary, we are inspired to take up love’s labor as ourselves, for the sake of Conscious Evolution.
